We Granite Bay/are thrilled with living in Granite Bay.  We have lived here for 21 years and have watched it grow with schools being built, Douglas Blvd being enlarged from two lanes and the Galleria being built.  We have a ranch style home on one acre, like Granite Bay used to be, and we love the country feel with any amenity you could want within a 5 mile radius.

The schools are above and beyond, with Granite Bay High School being ranked around 535 in the nation for high schools.  20% of the graduating class has over a 4.0 gpa and 95% go on to college.  Where the school has to cut back, the parents make up the financial difference and the parent volunteerism is huge here.

We enjoy all the opportunities here for shopping, eating, recreation, churches and various activities.  It is hard to find a negative about living in Granite Bay.  (AL)
